Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, Illarra, and Casillas receive awards from the LFP

A great showing by Real Madrid's players at the LFP gala held at Madrid's Auditorium Hotel, giving recognition to the best players in national competition during the last season in both First and Second Divisions. In addition to Cristiano Ronaldo, who won the "Most Valuable Player" award, three other Real Madrid players received awards in the fifth annual awards ceremony: Iker Casillas, the BBVA League's fair play award; Sergio Ramos, chosen best defender; and Asier Illarramendi, who received two as best midfielder and as rising star of the First Division.
