Why RM should not let Mesut Özil go - regardless the offer.

There has been much talk recently about Mesut Özil's future at Real Madrid, the latest saying the German maestro wants out of the Spanish capital. It appears that with the arrival of Isco, and his sudden rise to stardom, Madridistas have forgotten just exactly what this man has done for Real Madrid. This midfield genius is regarded as one of the best playmakers in the world. I'm here to remind you of just how important this player is to Real Madrid and why, no matter the price offered, we should never let him go.

Stat #1 - Real Madrid have won ALL 15 liga matches that Özil has scored in. He's scored 19 goals in those games. | Take a second to read that again. Real Madrid have never lost when Mesut Ozil scores in La Liga. That's an 100% record - a guaranteed 3 points. He's said himself that if there is one thing he wants to improve on, it's his goalscoring touch. More goals = more wins for Real Madrid.

Stat #2 - Mesut Özil has assisted 20 goals in 2013. He is only 9 assists away from his personal record in a calendar year that's 29. | The man is a genius. It is to be reminded to all that he is ONLY 24 years old. He's going to keep getting better, continue breaking records, and eventually get the recognition he deserves from the world of football.

Stat #3 - Mesut Özil: 72 assists in Europe's top 5 Leagues 2008-2013, more than any other player. | In the last 5 years, NO OTHER PLAYER has more assists than Mesut. Real Madrid have the best playmaker in the world. Numbers never lie.

Stat #4 - Over the last 3 seasons, no other player has assisted as many goals as Özil (91) for both club and country. | It doesn't matter whether Özil is wearing the white of Madrid, or defending the crest of Germany - he performs either way, He's assisted 91 goals in the last 3 seasons in total for club & country. Again, no player has more than that.

Stat #5 - Mesut Ozil and Ronaldo are the highest scoring partnership in La Liga this century. (20 goals) | Let that sink in. THE CENTURY. Mesut is Ronaldo's right-hand man. You're telling me you're willing to let Özil go? The man that so often unleashes and feeds the beast in Cristiano? He makes Ronaldo's life easier and puts him into positions where he can best excell. The chemistry is amazing between these two and you never want to let go of the right-hand man to the best player on your team and the world.

Special thanks to @MesutOzilStats for those wonderful, informative stats on M1Ö.

Mesut Özil is and should be untouchable at Real Madrid. He is arguably the most important player to Real Madrid behind Ronaldo. If Mesut Özil must leave Real Madrid because of Gareth Bale's likely arrival, then NO THANKYOU. Isco deserves all the credit he's getting but as usual, Madridistas are over looking those that have been here from the beginning. I love Isco, I really do. But when I see new lineups people are putting out there inputting Bale, and dropping Ozil instead of Isco - it makes me barf a little. Right now, I'd still take Özil > Isco anyday. Isco is getting there - but he's not there quite yet.
