GARETH BALE will not play for Tottenham again.
The £85m Real Madrid target turned up for training yesterday half an hour later than team-mates, then did just FIVE minutes light work.
And Starsport can reveal Bale does not feature in a list of Spurs players posted on a wall at their Enfield base, confirming boss Andre Villas-Boas is planning for the season without him.
The north Londoners yesterday some of the huge cash windfall they will get for Bale on new record £26m central striker signing Roberto Saldado from Valencia.
The 28-year cost £9m more than Brazilian midfielder Paulinho, bought from Sao Paulo this summer.
They are also looking to splash around £7m on Romanian international centreback Vlad Chiriches, 23, from Steau Bucharest.
Also on the wanted list are PSG’s Argentinian playmaker Javier Pastore and Spurs have also cheekily asked for Madrid’s 20-year-old hotshot young striker Alvaro Morta, as well as £85m, for Bale.
But, after yesterday, any prospect of Bale - who is furious at chairman Daniel Levy not accepting Madrid’s amazing world-record bid - pulling on a Tottenham shirt for friendly against Monaco tomorrow disappeared.
Bale - who reportedly has a muscle injury in the hip area - turned up for training at the time it was due to start, then did just some light jogging and a bit of ball work, before he went off with a physio.
Contrary to reports, Levy has not been out of the country and - after flying back from the tour of Hong Kong early - spent much of Tuesday and Wednesday trying to persuade Bale and his representatives Tottenham could offer last season's Premier League star player an exciting future.
But Levy and boss Villas-Boas have now accepted Bale, 24, will be swapping the white of Spurs for the white of Real Madrid and the next few days are likely to be spent finalising a deal between the two clubs.
