“I still haven’t decided who will start GK for us (Iker or Diego). I’ll decide tomorrow. The same with RB. Arbeloa played with the national team while Carvajal trained well, so he has a slight advantage. Xabi Alonso is not available, not yet. Pepe is OK and will be available to play tomorrow. Xabi Alonso is close to full recovery. He’ll probably be available on Thursday vs. Deportivo. Raphäel Varane is working individually on his knee. The program is 10 days long and there are 6 days left. FABIO COENTRÃO HAS ASKED TO LEAVE REAL MADRID. He’s not playing tomorrow. All the other players are happy to be here. No, the #11 jersey is not reserved for Gareth Bale - it is there because no one in the squad asked for it. I’m quite enthusiastic. The atmosphere inside the locker room is fantastic. I will not call the players to the hotel today. It’s enough to come here in the AM and have lunch together.”
