Real Madrid return to Valdebebas for medical's and their first trainingsession under Carlo Ancelotti

Real Madrid players returned to Valdebebas with an eye looking forward to what life will be like under new manager Carlo Ancelotti. The first team squad arrived at 8:00 A.M. where the first medical examinations of the season took place with doctors stating that the players were in top shape.The likes of Isco, Carvajal, and Illarramendi all had a warm welcome to the squad as new players and finally had a chance to meet them in person.
Carlo Ancelotti's long-awaited first training session with his new club took place this afternoon with assistant coach by his side - Zinedine Zidane. Spirits were high after the break as the 21 players tried to offer some first impressions to their new coaches. Almost all players were at Carlo Ancelotti's disposal for his debut session - except for those that took part in the 2013 Confederations Cup. The likes of Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Alvaro Arbeloa, Raul Albiol, & Marcelo are all currently enjoying their vacations while Xabi Alonso and Raphael Varane continued their recovery in the gym.                                

The session began with a team talk from Carlo Ancelotti, followed by some stretching and a warmup. Paul Clement later took over the session, having players focus on ball work.

Carlo Ancelotti's men return to training tomorrow at 10:30 A.M. local time, as the hard work has just begun.
