Carlo Ancelotti on Cristiano: "His contract renewal isn’t my job, but I don’t think it’ll be a problem."

New Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti held a press conference after todays training session to speak on a number of topics. The former PSG boss spoke on his first week at Real Madrid, Kaka, Tito Vilanova, and also Cristiano Ronaldo.

When asked about the Portuguese superstar, Ancelotti had some kind words for Cristiano. "He’s a phenomenal player, he is always professional and that is good for young players to see," said Ancelotti. The Italian was then asked about Cristiano's future at the Spanish giants and said: "His contract renewal isn’t my job, but I don’t think it’ll be a problem."

It is becoming evident that it is only a matter of time before Cristiano Ronaldo puts pen to paper on a new contract. Florentino Perez, former Real Madrid defender Ricardo Carvalho, Cristiano's agent Jorge Mendes, and now Carlo Ancelotti have all spoken on the likelihood of Cristiano signing a new contract as they are all confident that the superstar will remain at the spanish capital.
