On Gareth Bale: “The signing of Bale was important for Real Madrid. He’s been the best player in the EPL for the last two seasons. He’ll help us a lot.”
On Cristiano Ronaldo: “The best player in the world is Cristiano Ronaldo, so therefore he is the most expensive player in the world. We are delighted with him – he is the best player in the world.”
On Mesut Özil: “Özil decided to leave Real Madrid on his own. He’s a good player, who has given so much and we wish him the best of luck.”
