UEFA President Michel Platini recognised the great contributions made by Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsène Wenger and Carlo Ancelotti to the UEFA Champions League, on the opening day of the annual UEFA Elite Club Coaches Forum in Nyon on Wednesday.
Ancelotti and others received a framed picture and a plaque for managing over 100 matches in the UEFA Champions League. Ancelotti has managed a total of 117 matches during his Champions League career – winning 2 titles as a coach!
Carlo Ancelotti missed Real Madrid’s training session that day to pick up the plaque at Nyon, Switzerland.
