Mesut Özil & Cristiano Ronaldo - the two names strike fear amongst opponents as this deadly combination has proved vital to Real Madrid's success.
In an interview with CNN, Mesut Özil spoke on Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlo Ancelotti, & Zinedine Zidane.
Mesut Özil on:
Cristiano Ronaldo: "He is very important to the team, just look at the goals he has scored in the past few seasons. Cristiano is a great person off the field. I hope he can stay here for a long time because he can help us win titles."
Carlo Ancelotti: "Ancelotti has his own football philosophy. He wants us to play quicker than before. His system is different to what we're used to but that's why friendly games are important. We can get used to a new way of playing. We have quick attacking players so we are equipped to adopt his system successfully."
Real Madrid: "Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to play here. It's like a dream to play for Real Madrid. There is a lot of pressure to win games and titles, but I like that."
Zinedine Zidane: "Zidane was one of my idols when I was little. It was great to see him at Real Madrid. He has given me some advice, but I will keep that for myself. I really appreciate his support and the advice he has given to me."
