New Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti arrived back in Madrid late last night and got straight down to business the following day. The Italian manager paid a visit to Real Madrid City, where he was photographed speaking with a few members of his coaching staff - Zinedine Zidane and Paul Clement.
The new manager will have his first opportunity to be up close and personal with new players at his disposal as his very first training session with his new club is scheduled for 17:30 PM CET tomorrow. The training session will be held at Valdebebas, Madrid where all members of the first team squad, including some youngsters, are expected to attend - except for those who took part in the Confederations Cup.
It is believed that the likes of Iker Casillas, Alvaro Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos, Raul Albiol and perhaps Marcelo have been given a few extra days to spend on vacation because of their duties which their national sides. It still remains a possibility that some of them will in fact appear at the session, as many are quite eager to get the 2013/2014 campaign underway.
Tomorrow begins a new era for 'Los Blancos' under the Italian manager who has won a total of 4 Uefa Champions Leagues - 2 as coach and 2 as a player. Madridistas, as well as players, are eager to get the season underway and make up for what was a sub-par performance last season, in terms of titles.
Isco, Carvajal, Illarramendi & Casemiro are all expected at training tomorrow as the new signings will get a chance to build some chemistry with the squad.
