Cristiano Ronaldo is currently 1st leading the 2013 Golden Foot Awardwith 30% of votes thus far

As many of you know, the 2013 Golden Foot Award is up for grabs and there is a star-studded list of candidates. Ten nominees are chosen by a panel of international journalists based on the criteria that they are at least 28 years of age and still playing. The ten nominees include Cristiano Ronaldo, Didier Drogba, Iker Casillas, Samuel Eto'o, Andres Iniesta, Miroslav Klose, Frank Lampard, Andrea Pirlo, David Trezeguet and David Beckham. According to GoldenFoot.com, voting ends October 9th. All you must do is go to the website and register to vote!
This award, which began in 2003 has seen the likes of Andriy Shevchenko, Ronaldo Nazarion, Ronaldinho and even Roberto Carlos covet this prize - only to name a few.

This year's 2013 Golden Foot Award has really been special and intruguing as the race for the lead could not be any tighter. Didier Drogba had been much in the lead throughout the campaign but now it seems as if Cristiano Ronaldo has taken over.
