Cristiano Ronaldo: "Jose Mourinho says we can still win it"

CRISTIANO RONALDO insists he can still guide Portugal to Euro 2012 glory — thanks to a pep-talk from Jose Mourinho.

Cristiano Ronaldo was down after the 1-0 Group B defeat by Germany, watched by the player’s Real Madrid boss from the stands in Lviv.
But he revealed: “I have spoken to Mourinho and he told me we must trust in ourselves for the next two games and believe we can still go through.
“Even my Real team-mate Mesut Ozil, who played for Germany, said we have a great team and have become very difficult to beat.
“I’m very frustrated, as we deserved at least a draw. But we can still reach the quarter-finals.
“In Euro 2004 we lost the opening game and reached the final. We must remember that.”
Ozil said: “I gave Cristiano some encouragement."
“I really believe Portugal can reach the next phase.”
